Curiosity after more than 7 years on Mars
Jupiter rotates so fast, I almost imaged the whole planet in one night. [OC]
This would be Mars, if it still had a magnetic field, atmosphere and water
High resolution picture of Charon
This was my first attempt at trying to capture the International Space Station in transit across the sun. Out of over 1,000 images captured in the raw video, only 5 frames contained the ISS.
An 'artistic' interpretation of the solar system I did a while back. [OC]
The action above the sun's rim was extremely active when I captured this.

This week I saw the largest eruption on the sun I've ever seen, larger than Jupiter, shown here for scale. [OC]
After nearly a month of bad weather, I finally managed to capture over 20 hours of exposure on the infamous Horsehead nebula located 1,500 light years away in the Constellation of Orion.

A sunspot just formed on the surface of the sun. Here's an image I captured of it just a few minutes ago. [OC]

ULA 'Rocketship' passed by my house today. Built to transport Delta/Atlas stages from the Decatur, AL factory via the TN/OH/MS rivers and through the Gulf to either the Cape or Vandenberg AFB. Once hit a bridge in 2012 while loaded with 2 Atlas stages.
I was waiting for them to move but I think this is better -US Space & Rocket Center
🔥The Flaming Star Nebula
After flying 17,000 kms and only able to hope for clear skies, I was able to tick the Northern Lights off the 'to see' list [OC]
My very amateur horse head attempt
I took a 7h expsosure of Orions belt and labeled it. It's much busier than you would expect.

My 2nd APOD :-) This photo is a composite of 12 B&W pictures taken by Curiosity rover on Mars on 24 November 2019 at 4:30 pm local time. I colorized the composite on the basis of color pictures taken by another camera at a different time of the day. https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html

A render that I've made using NASA's photos of The Moon
Live Now: Astronauts are working outside the ISS to complete repair of the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, an instrument well past its design lifetime which was never meant to be serviced in space. The series of spacewalks are considered the most complex of their kind since the Hubble repair missions.
